Miss Helpful

We had prayed and hoped that Selah would be a good big sister.  She is more helpful than I imagined. All day long she says to me “I go check on baby. Be right back.” And off she runs!

Here she used one of her Christmas gifts (a picnic napkin) to cover him up.

Watching baby watch the mobile.

Teaching David how to use the floor gym, which she made quite comfy with blankets and pillows.

This morning she wanted him to watch Curious George with her on the couch.

Christmas Time

Trevor & Liz helped Selah decorate the Christmas Tree this year.  She loves the tree!

She is getting very excited about the baby coming.  We just received a gift of some baby clothes from a co-worker of mine and she was taking them all over the house.

And we have snow!!  I could barely keep Selah in the house until it warmed up.  She had this little perma-grin on her face all morning.

Proud of Uncle Ramey

Selah’s Uncle Ramey (my “little” brother) just accepted a new position working with the Montana FFA Foundation.  This is a job that Ramey has hoped for and fits him perfectly.  There was a write up on him in the local paper.  Linked.

Congrats Ramey!  And good job!

Thankful

Right before Thanksgiving Selah was not feeling well.  She was either in our arms or on the couch for about 4 days.  We have many things to be thankful for, but this year we were most thankful for our health on Thanksgiving Day.

As you can see, our happy little girl is back and she is on the go!

She came out of her room the other day and had (mostly) dressed herself in the outfit below.  She road her bike all over the house checking on her babies.

Seattle Aquarium

Last weekend Trevor and Liz treated Selah and I to a trip to the Seattle Aquarium. Selah is at that perfect age where everything is super cool and what ever is around the corner is even cooler.  I was very thankful that Trev & Liz wanted to chase her around and show her everything.  It was a great trip. Thanks guys!
